At his private practice in Athens, gynaecologist and breast specialist Ioannis Rellias MD, MSc, PhD offers comprehensive care for women, combining his specialist knowledge in Gynaecology, Mastology and Obstetrics with a holistic and personalised approach to each individual medical case.
In particular, the consultation always begins with a discussion of your medical history and a thorough clinical examination, so that we can gain a clear understanding of your needs. This is followed, where necessary, by the appropriate diagnostic tests (such as ultrasound, Pap test, HPV test, mammogram or biopsy), with a clear analysis of the results and counselling, so that we can determine the correct plan for monitoring or treatment.
The clinic provides services such as a full gynaecological and breast examination, preventive screening (Pap/HPV and referral for digital mammography), antenatal care and, where appropriate, minimally invasive diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.

Ioannis Rellias (MD, MSc, PhD) is a Gynaecologist – Breast Specialist in Athens, with a particular focus on the prevention, diagnosis and comprehensive management of breast conditions, always within the broader context of women’s health. He has specialised in breast surgery at major hospitals across the country, such as the ‘Agios Savvas’ Cancer Hospital and the ‘Alexandra’ General Hospital, actively participating in a wide range of cases.
He holds a Master’s degree in Female Reproduction, whilst his doctoral thesis focuses on breast cancer and its genetics, contributing to the personalisation of the approach in clinical practice. At the same time, he has participated in a multicentre study on the treatment of breast cancer and in prevention initiatives.
He has developed extensive clinical and scientific expertise in the management of breast conditions, with a focus on breast cancer, possessing proven experience in the systematic management and comprehensive follow-up of patients. Since 2021, he has been a consultant at the Breast Clinic of Euroclinic Athens and works with a multidisciplinary team (breast radiologists, oncologists, pathologists, etc.) to provide comprehensive care.
